The 33-credit curriculum combines 11 courses, two concentration options, several hands-on projects, and a final research capstone. You’ll study current issues and trends in educational leadership such as diversity, social change, technology, budgeting, and legal issues. Plus, you’ll learn new instructional strategies and the latest technology tools. By the end of the program, you’ll understand how to prioritize ethics in education, demonstrate responsible leadership, and provide equal learning opportunities for every kind of student.

The online M.Ed. in Educational Leadership offers two concentrations to help you choose what kind of educational leader you want to be. 

Instructional Design: This concentration explores instructional design, theory and practice of e-learning, and multimedia strategies for instructional media. You’ll be prepared to become a leader in training, development, and innovative teaching. 

Educational Leadership: This concentration explores educational assessment, teacher leadership, budget analysis and planning, and educational law. You’ll be prepared to become a leader in administration and policy.
